ETH Bucharest, the largest event dedicated to the Ethereum ecosystem in Eastern Europe, returns from April 2-5, 2025, with two components: a competitive hackathon and a large-scale Web3 conference. The event will take place at the National Library of Romania (the 2nd largest building in the country) and aims to bring together developers, entrepreneurs, and blockchain technology enthusiasts from around the world.

• Renowned speakers: 80+ speakers will take part in the event, including Mihai Alisie, co-founder of Ethereum, who will be the conference’s keynote speaker. Other industry leaders, including representatives from the Ethereum Foundation, the European Parliament, Cointelegraph, Milk Road, the Academy of Economic Studies, ANAF, and Binance, will hold individual sessions or panels.
• Participants and hackathon: The event expects an audience of 1500+ attendees and 150+ hackers from around the world, competing in the hackathon for prizes worth over $50,000 (not in products or services). In addition to bounties, major foundations and sponsors will offer grants and long-term mentorship. This is an unparalleled opportunity for tech teams from Romania and beyond.
