Xbox Game Pass Ultimate — a CNET Editors’ Choice award pick — offers hundreds of games you can play on your Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC or mobile device for $20 a month. A subscription gets you access to a large library of games, with new titles like Avowed added every month, plus other benefits, such as online multiplayer and deals on non-Game Pass titles.

Here are the games that Microsoft added to different Xbox Game Pass tiers in March. You can also check out the other games Microsoft recently added to the service, such as 33 Immortals.

Atomfall

The Windscale fire was the worst nuclear disaster in the UK’s history, and it’s estimated that it caused between 100 and 240 cancer-related deaths. And Atomfall asks, “What if Windscale was similar in magnitude to the disaster at Chornobyl?”

This game takes place five years after a more devastating Windscale disaster. You’ll encounter gangs of bandits, cults and rogue government agencies throughout the quarantine zone in the Lake District, Cumbria. It’s up to you whether you avoid conflict or charge into the heat of battle, but resources are scarce so maybe don’t go in guns blazing every chance you get.

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island

You’re an amateur backpacker who’s shipwrecked on a lost island, but you’re not alone. Zeus, Hades and the other gods of Greek mythology are all on the island with you, but they’re having an identity crisis and are afraid of each other. But really, the Greek gods were never particularly kind to each other. You’ll explore the island, uncover the truth about why the gods can’t remember anything and befriend the ancient deities.

Octopath Traveler 2

About nine months after Game Pass Ultimate subscribers got access to this game, Game Pass Standard subscribers can join in the fun, too. The second title in the JRPG Octopath Traveler series introduces a new world, called Solistia, and eight new characters with distinct stories. While you don’t need to have played the original to appreciate this game, the sequel matches the original’s vast open world filled with quests, unique characters and mystery.

Train Sim World 5 (console)

Game Pass Standard subscribers can take to the rails in the latest installment of this simulator series. Take on new challenges as you learn to master the tracks of iconic cities like London and Los Angeles. You can also take a break from driving the train with the new conductor mode. This gameplay mode puts you in the role of guard (or train conductor) and has you checking passenger tickets, operating the doors, and making sure passengers stay safe on their trip.

Blizzard Arcade Collection

This collection from the legendary World of Warcraft developer adds five classic Blizzard games to modern consoles along with new players. You can become a mercenary captain who liberates an alien people in Blackthorne, solve puzzles to get three vikings back home in the Lost Vikings and the Lost Vikings 2, or hit the race tracks in RPM Racing and Rock N Roll Racing. You can also explore gaming history in the Blizzard Arcade Collection Museum — included in the collection — and see unused content for these games, interviews and more.

New Xbox Game Pass Core games

Game Pass Core subscribers also got new games in March. This Game Pass plan costs $10 a month and gives subscribers access to a library of more than 40 games. And Game Pass Core subscribers can play these games now.

Games leaving Game Pass on March 31

While Microsoft added those games to Game Pass, it’s also removing 10 others from the service, including the remaining four Yakuza titles on the platform, on March 31. So you still have time to finish your campaign or any side quests before you have to buy these games separately.
