Fender Audio launches ELIE 6 and 12 speakers, MIX Headphones in Malaysia

After its successful showcase in CES 2026 while receiving numerous awards, Fender Audio has wasted no time in introducing the ELIE 6 and 12 speakers, and MIX Headphones to Malaysia, distributed by Swap Asia, these audio products offer powerful sound at an attractive value.

    ELIE 6 and ELIE 12

Starting with the ELIE speakers, which stands for Extremely Loud Infinitely Expressive, these are portable Bluetooth speakers that play big immersive sound in compact forms. Both ELIE models showcase Fender Audio’s signature approach to blending portable design with high performance. The speakers feature modern spatial audio processing powered by Waves SoC technology for louder, cleaner sound with minimal distortion

The ELIE 6 is the smaller, more portable model in the ELIE lineup, yet it delivers surprisingly robust sound through a three-driver configuration that includes a dedicated subwoofer, full-range driver and tweeter.

With a 60 watt peak output and optimized DSP processing, the ELIE 6 fills rooms with rich, dynamic audio that balances punchy low end with clear mids and crisp highs — making it equally suited for music playback, casual gatherings or creative setups. It supports multi-source input, allowing up to four sound sources to play simultaneously, including Bluetooth devices and wired instruments or microphones via the built-in XLR/¼-inch combo jack.

A long-lasting rechargeable battery provides up to 18 hours of playback on a single charge, while rapid charging delivers significant playtime from just a brief top-up. Stereo pairing and multi-speaker synchronization make the ELIE 6 versatile for larger soundscapes or shared listening environments.

Stepping up on power and presence, the ELIE 12 doubles down with a 120 watt output configuration. It uses two subwoofers, two full-range drivers and two tweeters to deliver louder, more room-filling performance with enhanced low end, richer midrange and detailed highs.

This model integrates advanced spatial audio technology that expands the perceived soundstage, giving a more immersive listening experience for movies, parties or creative playback.

Like its smaller sibling, the ELIE 12 supports multi-input mixing, letting listeners blend Bluetooth, wired, and additional wireless sources for collaborative or layered audio. Connectivity includes ultra-low latency Bluetooth, wired XLR/1/4-inch inputs, a 3.5 mm aux output and support for stereo pairing or linking multiple speakers — up to 100 units — for larger spaces.

Though its larger drivers and increased output trade slightly shorter battery life than the ELIE 6, users can still enjoy around 15 hours of playback and quick charging that adds hours of use with just a 15-minute charge.

    MIX Headphones

The Fender Audio MIX headphones are Fender’s first fully modular wireless over-ear headphones designed for modern listeners who want premium sound, flexible connectivity, and all-day comfort. Aimed at music lovers, creators, gamers and travellers alike, the MIX headphones blend advanced audio technologies with thoughtful design to deliver versatile, high-performance listening experiences.

At the heart of the MIX is a pair of 40 mm graphene drivers, chosen for their lightweight yet rigid structure that helps produce detailed, balanced sound with deep bass and crisp highs. To keep audio pristine across different environments, the headphones feature hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and spatial audio processing, allowing users to immerse themselves in music while reducing unwanted background noise during commuting, travel or focused listening sessions.

Battery life is one of the MIX’s standout strengths, boasting up to 100 hours of playback with ANC switched off and around 52 hours with ANC enabled. Even in long trips or multi-day use, the MIX promises to keep going, and 15 minutes of quick charge can deliver substantial listening time for on-the-go use

A key highlight of the MIX headphones is modularity and customization. The design allows users to mix and match components, such as swapping ear cups or headbands, and even features a replaceable battery, which can extend the life of the product over time. This modular architecture reflects Fender Audio’s emphasis on sustainability and longevity, letting owners maintain or personalise their headphones rather than replace them entirely.

Connectivity is broad and flexible, featuring Bluetooth 5.3 with support for advanced codecs like LHDC-V for wireless lossless audio, LC3 for low-latency streaming, and Auracast for broadcasting audio to multiple devices simultaneously with the included FWD Tx USB-C transmitter. A 3.5 mm AUX input also enables wired listening — even if the headphones’ battery is depleted — making the MIX versatile across wired and wireless setups.

For voice calls and smart assistant use, the headphones include dual microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to enhance clarity and reduce ambient interference. Comfort has been carefully considered, too, with memory foam ear cushions and an adjustable headband ensuring long listening sessions remain comfortable.

    Pricing and Availability

Available from March 2026 onwards, the Fender Audio ELIE 12 retails for RM1899 while the ELIE 6 and MIX Headphones retail for RM1399, it can be purchased from Fender Audio’s official store on Lazada and Shopee, Swap Asia and major IT and electronics retailers nationwide.
