Samsung Malaysia has officially introduced the new Galaxy A series, consisting the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26, they all come equipped with Galaxy AI with some iterative hardware upgrades over their predecessors.

The Galaxy A56 receives the most upgrades among the pack, powered by an Exynos 1580 processor and available in storage options of 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB, it has the same 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display but has an updated Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and boosted peak brightness of 1900 nits, the body continues to be IP67 rated against water and dust, while its 5000mAh battery can now support faster 45W wired charging.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy A56 has the same hardware as the Galaxy A55, including a 50MP wide with OIS, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro cameras, but it is expected to have slightly better looking shots than before with the phone’s new ISP, the front camera takes 12MP stills and records 4K videos at 30 fps and supports 10-bit HDR.

As for the Galaxy A36, it has the same screen and almost similar hardware dimensions as the Galaxy A56 though it comes with a plastic frame for its body construction, it thankfully remains IP67 water and dust resistant.
