Galaxy A57, Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A07 might arrive before the Galaxy S26 series – NotebookCheck.net News

Samsung’s smartphone release schedule might look a lot different in 2026 (image source: Notebookcheck)

X leaker Abhishek Yadav has learned Samsung plans to push out its mid-range Galaxy A series in February. They could be unveiled before the Galaxy S26 trio, which is tipped for a late-February 2026 reveal.

Back in the day, Samsung used to launch its flagship Galaxy S smartphones in March of a calendar year. That timeline eventually got pushed back to late-January to mid-February and stayed there until last year. If a report from X leaker Abhishek Yadav is accurate, Samsung’s release schedule could look a lot different in 2026.

Yadav says the entry-level Galaxy A07 might be the first smartphone out of the door and debut sometime this month or early January. Its launch will be followed by two more mid-rangers, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57, in February 2026—usually, Samsung’s Galaxy A-branded phones surface in March-April.

Essentially, Samsung’s mid-rangers could surface before the flagship Galaxy S26 trio. Samsung’s mid-rangers usually get a lower-profile launch via a press release and not a dedicated event. An earlier leak zeroed in on a February 25 date for the next Galaxy Unpacked, while another one said it could be as late as March. Either way, the phones are unlikely to hit shelves before March or even April 2026.

The Galaxy S26 series’ late arrival is hardly surprising, given the global DRAM shortage. On top of that, it might need some extra time to push out Exynos 2600 wafers to keep up with demand. DigiTimes stated that only South Korea would get Exynos-powered Galaxy S26 SKUs, but Samsung’s earlier Exynos-Snapdragon split strategy suggests it will also be used in the EU, Asia and other markets.
