Garmin Fenix E with 16-day battery life gets its biggest-ever Amazon discount – NotebookCheck.net News

The Garmin Fenix E 47mm AMOLED smartwatch is now priced at $499.99, down from $799.99. It comes equipped with a 16-day battery life, multi-GNSS navigation, health tracking, and smart features, making it a solid value proposition if you’re in the market for a capable smartwatch.

Garmin has a vast catalog of smartwatches, where the Fenix E is pretty popular among athletes and outdoor users due to its solid feature set and build quality. As of September 27, 2025, the Garmin Fenix E 47 mm AMOLED edition is available on Amazon for $499.99, which is its lowest recorded price till date, based on camelcamelcamel price tracking data.

This model features a 1.3-inch AMOLED display housed in a rugged steel bezel, which is designed to meet military standards for shock, thermal, and water resistance. Garmin states that the Fenix E’s battery life extends up to 16 days in smartwatch mode and up to 42 hours when GPS is in use, which is decent for extended outdoor activities.

The Fenix E supports multi-GNSS navigation systems including GPS, GLONASS (the Russian global navigation satellite system), and Galileo for location tracking. It is also equipped with an extensive suite of sensors like a 3-axis compass, gyroscope, and barometric altimeter for precise outdoor navigation. Regarding health and fitness tracking, the watch features heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis, advanced respiration metrics, and training readiness estimations; however, Garmin does clarify these are approximations and not intended for medical use. On the mapping front, it offers onboard TopoActive maps, downloadable via Wi-Fi, along with golf and ski course information. Additionally, the watch supports notifications, music storage, and Garmin Pay for compatible regions.

Going by Amazon reviews, customers appreciate its durable build and the clear AMOLED display, alongside the wide array of sensors it comes with. Some users do consider the price to be steep, but the current discount brings its value more in line with what it offers. Also, unlike some more expensive models such as the Fenix 7S Pro Sapphire, the Fenix E lacks sapphire glass. These are just some caveats to watch out for. If you’re okay with these, the Garmin Fenix E is a great buy for the price, considering it has never been marked down to $499.99.

Buy the Garmin Fenix E on Amazon.
