Halo Studios teases major reveal at October Championship Event – NotebookCheck.net News

Halo Studios has confirmed it will give attendees a scoop its future projects at the Halo World Championship in Seattle on October 24. This marks the first major follow-up since the studio rebranded and announced a shift to Unreal Engine 5 last year.

Halo Studios, the rebranded developer formerly known as 343 Industries, has confirmed it will share new details about its upcoming Halo projects during the Halo World Championship (HWC), set to take place in October in Seattle.

“Speculation is always fun, but if you want the official scoop on what Halo Studios has been working on, you won’t want to miss this year’s Halo World Championship,” the developer wrote in a new Halo Waypoint blog post.

This marks the next significant update since the studio announced its move to Unreal Engine 5 and its new direction for the franchise at last year’s event. For some context, at HWC 2024, Halo Studios also rebranded from 343 Industries and also revealed it was working on multiple Halo projects.

In the same post, the studio also said, “For us, ‘A New Dawn’ was just the beginning. At this year’s HaloWC, we look forward to continuing the conversation.”

Since the 2024 event, there have been speculations about what exactly Halo Studios has in development. Some of the popular speculations online include Halo 7, a potential Halo: Combat Evolved remake, or Master Chief Collection expanding to Nintendo and PlayStation platforms. However, so far, none of these rumors have been officially confirmed.

Halo fans eager for concrete news after years of speculation can now look forward to the upcoming HWC 2025 event in October. Whether it’s a sequel, remake, or a new take entirely, it’s clear that Halo Studios intends to make this year’s World Championship as big as the previous one or even better.
