Here’s how you can try the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses (in a couple of months when slots are available)

    • Meta’s new Ray-Ban Display glasses are available to buy and demo
    • They’re on sale a select US stores for $799
    • You can book a demo through Meta’s official scheduler page

Last month at Meta Connect 2025, we got our first look at the new Meta Ray-Ban display. We even got to try it too, and now you can as well at select stores in the US.

To quickly bring you up to speed, these smart glasses are similar to the existing Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses – we’re talking about open-ear audio for music, thanks to in-built speakers, a camera for taking snaps, first-person video, and, importantly, a handy AI assistant. However, the Display model have, well, a display.

It’s a single full-color screen you can see with one eye, and it can display handy info like on-screen navigation, notification popups, and it can even support video calls – except when the live demo fails due to a never-before-seen bug.

Now these $799 glasses are available to buy at select locations – select Sunglass Hut, LensCrafters, and Ray-Ban stores, and soon Verizon and Best Buy stores – and also demo them in a 25-minute trial so you can decide if they’re right for you, and also make sure you get the right glasses and band fit that’s right for you.

Booking a demo is very easy. You just go to Meta’s official scheduler page, type in your ZIP code or your city, select a store that’s near you, and then scroll through until you can book a demo.

Just be prepared to wait a while. I checked the page using our New York office’s address in Manhattan, and the closest location to there didn’t have appointments until November 24. When I refreshed the page after a couple of minutes, it became November 30, and I expect it’ll be even later now.

When you do find a slot, you may also need to provide some personal info. When checking out the form for Sunglass Hut, I was asked for my full name, date of birth, email address, and phone number. The booking looked to be free, though.

If you don’t live near a major city, you may struggle to find a location offering demos at the moment. Thankfully, Meta has announced that it will be expanding availability over the coming months, including the launch of the specs in other countries like Canada, the UK, and other European nations in “early 2026.”
