Hisense has unveiled the U7SG ULED Mini LED TV lineup for the U.S., available in six sizes from 55 to 116 inches. The series features up to 165 Hz base refresh rates (up to 330 Hz on Game Booster mode), FreeSync Premium Pro, Google TV, and Mini LED backlighting rated at up to 3000 nits.
Hisense has introduced a new ULED Mini LED TV lineup for the U.S. market, dubbed the U7SG series. The range includes six screen sizes: 55, 65, 75, 85, 100, and 116 inches, all built around 4K Mini LED panels.
All models use a VA panel with a 3840 × 2160 resolution and wide 178-degree viewing angles. The TVs support refresh rates between 48 Hz and 165 Hz for smoother motion during fast scenes or gameplay. Hisense also advertises peak brightness of up to 3000 nits, thanks to its Hi-QLED Mini LED Pro backlighting system, which uses thousands of small LEDs for precise local dimming and higher contrast.
Gaming support is a big part of the U7SG lineup. The TVs include a native 165 Hz game mode and a “Game Booster” feature that can push refresh rates as high as 330 Hz at lower resolutions. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support is also included to reduce screen tearing and input latency. Hisense also incorporates an anti-reflection screen coating for the sake of visibility in brighter rooms.
Color reproduction is handled through Hisense’s Hi-QLED Color+ system and Pantone validation. The TVs are powered by the company’s Hi-View AI Engine Pro, which claims to analyze scenes and automatically adjust contrast, color, and sharpness during playback.
Audio features vary by screen size. The 55- to 85-inch models feature a 2.1.2-channel speaker setup with up to 50 W of output, while the 100-inch model increases that to 60 W. The largest 116-inch version upgrades to a 6.2.2-channel audio system with higher output. Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X are supported across the lineup.
The TVs run on Google TV and include four HDMI 2.1 ports, a LAN port, two USB-A ports, and an optical audio output. Design-wise, the U7SG models sport a slim unibody chassis with different stand options depending on the size.
