Its that time of the year for new flagship phones, as HONOR Malaysia has teased the imminent arrival of the Magic8 Pro flagship. Launched in China last month, the HONOR Magic8 Pro brings improved performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while it boasts even more capable AI features and an improved camera system, namely a 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto camera.

Due to its advancements in mobile photography, the HONOR Magic8 Pro has been chosen as the official photography smartphone for Gegar Vaganza 2025, a popular singing reality show, as the phone is capable of capturing moments of every aspiring artists clearly even in low light conditions.

Aside from its advanced camera system, there are many other reasons to look forward to the HONOR Magic8 Pro, such as its super large 7200mAh Silicon Carbon battery that supports 120W fast wired charging and 80W wireless charging, large amplitude stereo speakers and HONOR’s new AI Agent, though it is unclear what AI Agents HONOR will introduce for the global market as opposed to China, but ever since the company showed off the concept during its Alpha Plan event back in MWC this year, we have a good idea on what to expect next.

This is a month with many new flagship phone launches, aside from the HONOR Magic8 Pro, OPPO has also unveiled its Find X9 Pro, while we are expecting to see the vivo X300 Pro and iQOO 15 to officially debut here.
