HONOR has officially unveiled the X9d today, it is the most durable that HONOR has ever made that comes with a bulletproof-inspired shock absorption construction, upgraded IP69K dust and water resistance and a large 8300mAh Silicon Carbon battery in a 7.76mm body profile.

With its improved durability, HONOR says that the phone can withstand drops of up to 2.5 meters, while it is the first phone of its class to use Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to shield the large 6.79-inch OLED 120Hz display, the latter now also pushes an impressive peak brightness of 6000 nits when viewing HDR content.

Powering the HONOR X9d is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage, it offers 29% improvement in graphics performance and 11% improvement in CPU performance over its predecessor that uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1.

In terms of cameras, it is the same setup as before with a 108MP Ultra-Sensing main camera with OIS and a 5MP ultrawide camera, the front camera takes 16MP selfies.

With its large silicon carbon battery, the HONOR X9d can easily offer up to 3 days of moderate usage on a single charge, the phone retains the same 66W HONOR SuperCharge as before and can offer 60 minutes of voice calls even when it has 2% of battery left.

The HONOR X9d retails for RM1499 for the 12GB+256GB model and RM1699 for the 12GB+512GB model, it is available for preorder starting today and HONOR Malaysia is throwing in quite a bunch for the preorder deal, including a free HONOR Pad X7, a 365-day front and back glass crack replacement, 1-year extended warranty and 1-year liquid damage protection warranty worth RM1146.

Introduction of HONOR X7d and HONOR Pad X7

Alongside the HONOR X9d, HONOR has also introduced the HONOR X7d, which is a cheaper alternative to the X9d that also boasts superior durability, it features a 6.77-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor with 8GB RAM+512GB storage, a 6500mAh battery, dual stereo speakers and a 50MP+2MP rear camera setup.

The HONOR X7d retails for RM799 but for a limited time, customers can receive a RM100 instant rebate when they place their orders.

As for the HONOR Pad X7, it features a 8.7-inch HD+ Eye Comfort Display that refreshes at 90Hz, it is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor and comes with 4GB RAM and 64G of storage, the tablet has a big 7020mAh battery for all-day entertainment and can be used to reverse charge other devices.
