The former two-time world heavyweight champion, incidentally, sent Goldberg into retirement in July.
As tends to be the case, the fairytale ending wasn’t to be for Goldberg, though at 48, Cena is 10 years his junior, a recent intercontinental champion, a 17-time world champion and a Triple Crown winner.
