After the successful launch of the Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Ultra, Huawei Malaysia has launched the preorder for the standard Huawei Pura 80, which features the some hallmarks of its higher end siblings but with a smaller screen and some camera downgrades.

The Pura 80 has a flat 6.6-inch 1.2K OLED display that refresh adaptively from 1-120Hz and is protected by 2nd Gen Kunlun Glass, it is powered by the very same Kirin 9020 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 25GB of storage, while juicing up the device is a 5170mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, the phone is also IP68 and IP69 certified against dust and water, which you should expect great durability and performance.

On the back, the signature triangle shaped camera island loses the 1-inch main sensor that’s present on the Pro and Ultra, but it still has a 50MP Ultra Lightning Camera with a variable aperture of f/1.4-f/4.0, complemented by a 13M ultrawide and 12MP periscope camera. The front camera is the same 13MP shooter with autofocus.

The Huawei Pura 80 retails for RM3,299, which is significantly cheaper than the Pro and Ultra models, customers can preorder the phone now with a RM80 deposit at Huawei’s online store and receive a RM500 reebate, while enjoy free gifts worth up to RM687 including a Huawei Band 8 and Huawei Scale 3, the phone will be generally available for purchase on 8 September.
