Huawei to Launch WATCH GT 6 Series and WATCH Ultimate 2 in Malaysia on September 29

Huawei is bringing its latest wearable innovations to Malaysia, confirming that the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series and the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 will officially launch locally on 29 September 2025. First introduced at a global event in Paris, the two new smartwatches highlight Huawei’s push to combine premium design, long-lasting endurance, and advanced health and outdoor features.

HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series: Smarter Sports and Health Tracking

The new WATCH GT 6 Series is designed around the “Ride the Wind” ethos, aiming to blend stylish looks with serious stamina. The lineup includes three models:

    • GT 6 Pro (46mm) – Up to 21 days of battery life, titanium alloy body with sapphire glass.
    • GT 6 (46mm) – Also lasts up to 21 days, refreshed designs for lifestyle use.
    • GT 6 (41mm) – Slimmer build, still packs up to 14 days of use.

Huawei has improved GPS performance with its Sunflower Positioning System, giving more precise outdoor tracking. The Pro edition stands out for outdoor athletes, with upgraded modes for trail running, skiing, golf, and freediving up to 40m.

One of the most notable upgrades is cycling virtual power – the first time this feature has been offered on a smartwatch. Cyclists can track their power output in real-time with near power meter–level accuracy, making it a valuable tool for training.

On the health side, Huawei debuts its new TruSense system, offering multidimensional emotion tracking, cardiovascular monitoring, and detailed health analytics throughout the day.

Early adopters who place a RM50 deposit will receive free gifts worth up to RM446, including the HUAWEI FreeBuds 6i and 3 months of HUAWEI Health+. Pre-orders are open through Huawei Experience Stores, the official website, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2: Extreme Adventure Ready

For those who push beyond everyday fitness, Huawei is launching the WATCH Ultimate 2, the first smartwatch certified for 150-metre diving. It introduces practical underwater features like:

    • Sonar communication up to 30m with dive buddies.
    • Underwater SOS alerts up to 60m.

The build quality is just as premium: a zirconium-based liquid metal body, dual-colour ceramic bezel, and sapphire glass ensure toughness while maintaining a luxury feel.

On land, the watch’s Expedition Mode supports outdoor adventures with 17,000+ global golf course maps, slope-adjusted distance measurement, and trajectory replay. Trail runners can also access offline maps, route-back navigation, and SOS calling.

Connectivity and accuracy are boosted by Huawei’s gap antenna design paired with the Sunflower Positioning System, keeping navigation stable even in remote locations. Safety is enhanced with Fall Detection, High-Altitude Monitoring, and Emergency SOS.

The new X-TAP fingertip sensing system works with Health Glance to provide quick checks on ECG, SpO₂, and more. With up to 11 days of battery life, it’s built to handle tough environments without compromising connectivity.

Pre-orders require a RM50 deposit, bundled with gifts worth up to RM1,305, including the HUAWEI FreeClip, 2 Years HUAWEI Care+, and 3 months of HUAWEI Health+.

    Launch Details

Both the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series and HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 will be officially unveiled in Malaysia on 29 September 2025. They will be available at Huawei Experience Stores, the HUAWEI Official Website, and official flagship stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
