At IFA 2025, Acer unveiled the Swift Air 16, the newest member of its thin-and-light Swift laptop lineup, engineered for professionals who prioritize mobility without sacrificing performance.

At the heart of the Swift Air 16 lies the latest AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors, with configurations available up to the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350. These chips deliver seamless local AI execution, improved responsiveness, and efficient power consumption, making the laptop a strong choice for video conferencing, streaming, editing, and creative workflows.

As a Copilot+ PC, the Swift Air 16 unlocks access to next-generation AI experiences including Recall (preview), Click to Do (preview), and Improved Windows Search, designed to enhance productivity, collaboration, and content creation.

Weighing in at under 1 kilogram (2.18 pounds), the Swift Air 16 is one of the lightest 16-inch laptops on the market. Its chassis is built from a magnesium-aluminum alloy, combining durability with a sleek, premium design that adapts to diverse work environments from cafés to boardrooms.

The laptop will also be offered in four color profiles. The device is available with two 16-inch display options: a WQXGA+ AMOLED panel (120Hz) with full DCI-P3 coverage and 400 nits brightness, delivering vibrant colors, deep blacks, and stunning clarity, or a WUXGA IPS panel (60Hz) for balanced performance and energy efficiency.

With a 16:10 aspect ratio, both options provide ample screen space for multitasking, making the Swift Air 16 ideal for designers, freelancers, and business professionals.

The Swift Air 16 integrates a 2MP FHD IR camera with privacy shutter for secure Windows Hello facial recognition, alongside dual microphones and dual speakers for clear, immersive audio during calls and media playback.

Connectivity is also versatile, with two USB-C ports, USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 1.4 with HDCP, and wireless support for Wi-Fi 6E and the latest Bluetooth standard to ensure fast, reliable connections. The Acer Swift Air 16 (SFA16-61M) will be available in EMEA from November 2025, starting at EUR 999.
