Featuring a redesigned square form measuring just 1.8 inches per side and weighing 53 grams, the GO Ultra upgrades the tiny action camera category. It sports a new 1/1.28-inch sensor—over twice the size of previous models—enhanced by a 5nm AI chip that enables 4K60 video, Active HDR, PureVideo AI processing, and 1080p slow-motion at 240 fps.

Battery and Storage Upgrades

Battery life sees a notable boost with up to 70 minutes of recording on the camera alone—an 80% improvement over the GO 3S—and up to 200 minutes when paired with the included Action Pod. The pod also includes a 2.5-inch flip touchscreen for live monitoring. Crucially, the GO Ultra abandons fixed internal storage for a microSD slot (up to 2TB), making it easier to swap storage on the go.

Durable and Wearable

IPX8-rated for water resistance up to 10 meters and featuring magnetic mounts like an upgraded pendant and toddler hat clip, the GO Ultra preserves the versatility of its predecessors.

In Malaysia, the Standard Bundle is priced at RM1,879 and includes the GO Ultra camera, magnetic clip, necklace, safety strap, and USB-C cable, but no memory card. The Creator Bundle with accessories such as a grip, stand, and 64GB microSD card is priced at RM2,149 and is available through Insta360’s official Shopee store. Accessories such as wrist straps (RM69), dive cases (RM269), and lens accessories are available separately.
