LG releases UltraGear OLED 45GX900A gaming monitor in more markets with early US discount offered – NotebookCheck.net News
The UltraGear OLED 45GX900A is barely a month old. Nonetheless, LG has already discounted its latest 45-inch OLED gaming monitor by $400 in the US. At the same time, the company has released the same 240 Hz ultra-wide monitor in Europe and the UK.
LG has gone on a spree of high-end gaming monitor releases lately after rounding out last month with the UltraWide 49U950A-W. Shortly beforehand, the company launched the UltraGear OLED 27GX700A, 34GX900A and 39GX900A too. Now, the company has started September by bringing the UltraGear OLED 45GX900A to more markets.
For context, the UltraGear OLED 45GX900A landed in Canada, Hong Kong and the US last month. Incidentally, LG is already offering its new 45-inch gaming monitor at at $400 discount in the US (curr. $1,299 on Amazon). While that is not true in Europe or the UK yet, the UltraGear OLED 45GX900A is now available to purchase in both markets.
At the time of writing, LG has priced the UltraGear OLED 45GX900A at €1,685 in the Eurozone and £1,399 in the UK. For those prices, LG has included a Gen 2 WOLED panel that combines a 1440p resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the UltraGear OLED 45GX900A boasts 0.03 ms GtG response times, 275 nits peak SDR brightness and a 65 W-capable USB Type-C port. Please see LG’s website for more technical details.
