MagicX reveals color options for its two new handhelds – NotebookCheck.net News

MagicX has shared renders that reveal the colors of its upcoming handhelds, the Dream Two Light and Dream Two Pro. The images show similarities between the models, but also noticeable differences, too.

Earlier this month, MagicX revealed its plans to launch two new handhelds that will arrive as the Two Dream Light and Two Dream Pro. That announcement, which came along with a few technical details and a price range, has now been followed by official renders of the two devices.

Posted on its official MagicX Discord channel, the renders reveal a few important details. For starters, the two handhelds will be available in four colors, and while the colors are the same for the two devices, there are differences that set them apart.

The MagicX Two Dream Light has black buttons for all four color variants.

The MagicX Two Dream Light will be available in green, purple, black, and gray. Although, only the green and purple colors have a translucent shell, all four have black buttons, triggers, and thumbsticks. In addition, MagicX chose to use colored fonts for the ABXY buttons on the black and gray variants, while the green and purple variants have a white font.

On the other hand, for the MagicX Two Dream Pro, the green and purple variants have color matching buttons, even down to the thumbsticks on the green variant. Whereas, the black and gray variants have mostly black buttons, save for the colored ABXY buttons.

Both handhelds have front-facing speakers, stacked shoulder buttons, an audio jack at the bottom, a USB-C port at the top, a microSD card slot on the left side, and an air vent on the back. The Two Dream handhelds also have ergonomic bumps that should make them comfortable to hold during use.

The green and purple variants of the MagicX Two Dream Pro have color-matching buttons.

With respect to specs, the Two Dream Light and Two Dream Pro will both have a 4.5-inch display with a 1440 x 1080 display. While this is a larger display than that of the Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini (available on Amazon for $119.99), it still has the same 4:3 aspect ratio.

They will also feature Hall Effect triggers, Hall Effect thumbsticks, a gyroscope, HD rumble, and even a microphone. Where they will differ is under the hood. The Light will have a 6nm MediaTek processor while the Pro will have a 4nm MediaTek chipset, which should have better efficiency than the chip in the former.

There’s still a lot of details we don’t know yet, but we expect more information will be released as the launch draws closer.
