The MagInk is a new power bank featuring an e-ink display with colors. The gadget can be magnetically attached to smartphones and is compatible with Apple Find My as well as Google’s Find My Device, depending on the model variant.

We have often reported about power banks and also about numerous products with e-ink screens, but a combination of these two product types is pretty rare. But that’s precisely what the MagInk is, a power bank with an e-ink screen that’s currently available as part of an ongoing crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
Backers can currently reserve one unit in return for a pledge of $49, which apparently is half the official price. Shipping is scheduled to kick off in November 2025, but as usual, these crowdfunding campaigns entail some financial risks if the product never makes it to market.
With that out of the way, this power bank has a capacity of 5,000mAh, which is rather low but not unusual for more compact portable chargers. Wireless charging at up to 15 watts is supported, while wired charging takes place at up to 22.5 watts. The MagInk can also charge devices like a smartwatch and a smartphone simultaneously. The Pro version of the MagInk power bank additionally supports Apple Find My and Find My Device on Android.
The gadget is offered in three different colors, but the aforementioned Pro version is only available in one color as it always sports an aluminum case. The color e-ink screen can display AI-generated photos but also to-do lists or a summary of upcoming appointments as well as a calendar. This connection relies on Bluetooth, and an app is required to synchronize the power bank and use this interesting feature.
