Microsoft Malaysia has officially opened pre-orders for the all-new Surface Pro (12-inch) and Surface Laptop (13-inch), the latest additions to its AI-powered Copilot+ PC lineup. Built on the powerful Snapdragon X Plus processor with a 45 TOPS NPU, these new Surface devices promise AI-enhanced productivity, cutting-edge design, and exceptional battery life, starting at just RM3,999.

Both models will be available via authorized retailers including All IT Hypermarket, Harvey Norman, PC Image, SNS Network, and Thunder Match Technology, ahead of general availability on 22 July 2025.

The Surface Laptop 13-inch is Microsoft’s thinnest and lightest laptop yet, crafted for portability and AI-enhanced performance. Powered by the Snapdragon X Plus processor with integrated 45 TOPS NPU, it’s 50% faster than the Surface Laptop 5 and outpaces the MacBook Air M3. It delivers up to 23 hours of video playback or 16 hours of web browsing, making it ideal for on-the-go productivity.

The 13-inch Full HD touchscreen display features ultra-thin bezels, and the AI-enhanced camera ensures you look your best with Auto Video HDR and noise reduction. Designed with a premium anodized aluminum chassis, it includes a fingerprint reader, Copilot key, adaptive touchpad, and quiet keyboard. Sustainability is also prioritized, with 100% recycled cobalt in the battery and 100% recycled rare earth metals in the magnets, plus components that are easily repairable.

The Surface Pro 12-inch continues the 2-in-1 legacy with enhanced AI capabilities. Weighing just 680g, it combines laptop performance with tablet portability, aided by an adjustable kickstand and detachable keyboard.

The keyboard, finished in Slate, includes a smooth palm rest, customizable precision touchpad, and Copilot key. The Surface Slim Pen now attaches magnetically to the back for charging and convenience. Powered by the same Snapdragon X Plus chip, it offers fast, fluid performance and all-day battery life. It’s also environmentally conscious, with 82.9% recycled content in the enclosure and easily replaceable components.

These new Surface devices unlock next-gen Copilot+ PC features. Recall (Preview) lets users instantly find past apps, files, or images. Enhanced Windows search works with natural language, while Click to Do (Preview) enables quick actions using on-screen content. Upcoming features for Windows Insiders include an AI agent in Settings and Photos Relight for pro-level lighting effects.

Pricing in Malaysia is as follows: the Surface Pro 12-inch with X Plus / 16GB / 256GB retails at RM3,999, and the 512GB variant at RM4,399. The Surface Laptop 13-inch starts at RM4,488 for 256GB and RM4,888 for the 512GB model.
