Moto X70 Air: Motorola confirms pricing of its iPhone Air competitor – NotebookCheck.net News

The Moto X70 Air, which will launch in the global market as the Moto Edge 70, is now available to pre-order in China. This iPhone Air competitor starts at CNY 2,599, about $364 in the Chinese market.

Motorola is gearing up to launch a thin and light smartphone in China, the Moto X70 Air, which will be a competitor to the iPhone Air. This mid-range phone will also make its global debut as the Motorola Edge 70, and so far, the brand has confirmed most of the device’s core specs.

Now, as the Chinese variant has gone up for pre-orders, the first official price info has emerged. As available on the Chinese Lenovo mall, the base Moto X70 Air with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is on pre-sale at CNY 2,599, which converts to around $365.

The second configuration, which has 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, is available to pre-order at CNY 2,899, around $410. Of course, these prices won’t be applicable to the global Motorola Edge 70, as international versions are subject to different fees and tariffs.

To be specific, per recent leaks, the Motorola Edge 70 is expected to cost between €700 and €800 in the EU. If this turns out to be true, the international variant of the Moto X70 Air won’t be as affordable as it is in China. The good part is that the brand has confirmed that it will offer launch bonuses worth over €300, which could sweeten up the deal for interested buyers.

For those who missed our past coverage, the Edge 70 is confirmed to feature a battery larger than the iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge, featuring a rated capacity of 4,800 mAh. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, feature a 6.7-inch pOLED display, and have support for 68 W fast charging (100 W Anker Prime charger curr. $59.99 on Amazon). The global launch is set for November 05, 2025.
