With Xbox FSE, MSI Claw owners can now access their games through a streamlined and controller-friendly interface optimised for Windows-powered gaming handhelds. The unified gaming library combines titles from various platforms, including Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games Store, and Steam.

Lower RAM usage for smoother gameplay

Xbox FSE also improves gameplay. MSI claims the update reduces system RAM usage by more than 5 percent, compared to traditional Windows desktops. The lower operational overhead means MSI Claw devices can dedicate more memory to making games smoother and potentially unlock higher FPS.

Integrated MSI quick settings for customization

MSI Claw’s Quick Settings can now be accessed from the Xbox Game Bar, meaning gamers can change power modes and use key system tools with just a click. Since this is in the gaming interface, it is no longer necessary to go back to the Windows desktop or open MSI utilities separately.

A more console-like handheld experience

The MSI Claw can now boot straight into the Xbox FSE interface for a gaming-first experience. The update is now available for download, and instructions for activation on all MSI handhelds can be found here or in the attached video below.
