The MSI Thin A15 (B7Vx) is a laptop built on a foundation of significant compromises, a machine that prioritizes portability and price above almost everything else. Its name is a clear statement of intent: this is MSI’s attempt to deliver a gaming experience in a “Thin” and light package. However, this pursuit of a light profile has led to a critical, performance-defining trade-off that potential buyers must fully understand. This is a budget-friendly, highly portable machine that can certainly play modern games, but it is not a powerhouse. It’s a laptop for the casual gamer who values being able to easily carry their machine around more than they value raw, unthrottled power.
