Need a cheap laptop that doesn’t suck? This Dell is $400 for Prime Day

    Image: Dell

Need a laptop that’s cheap and doesn’t totally suck? The Dell Inspiron 15 3535 should definitely be on your shortlist then. This budget design has a 15.6-inch 1080p screen that’s both roomy and crisp, making it perfect for binge-watching your favorite shows or doom-scrolling. (I won’t judge!) The anti-glare coating is nice too for when the sun’s aggressively shining through your window.

Right now, during October Prime Day, it’s selling for $399.99, which is a smooth $50 off its already-budget-friendly price. That’s pretty good for the kind of hardware it’s housing.

It’s got a Ryzen 5 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. This means it’ll handle all the normal tasks just fine, like web browsing and school work. The Radeon graphics can even do some light gaming or media editing. Just don’t expect to play the hottest triple-A titles with the graphics turned all the way up—it’s not a gaming rig, folks. For most people, it’s got plenty of oomph for everyday use.

Honestly? If you just want a decent laptop that won’t make your bank account weep, this one’s worth grabbing. I’d say jump on it sooner than later because Prime Day deals don’t usually stick around, and this sales event ends tomorrow. Meanwhile, make sure to check out all the other awesome deals we found for October Prime Day.
