New Seiko 5 Sports winter-themed limited-edition watches now available to buy – NotebookCheck.net News
Seiko’s winter-themed Seiko 5 Sports SRPM11K1 and SRPM13K1 watches are now available via Seiko Singapore. Both Thong Sia Group exclusives are priced at SGD 473.10 (~$367) and limited to 1,000 pieces for select Southeast Asian markets.
Seiko’s winter-sports-inspired Seiko 5 Sports models, which were announced earlier this month, are now officially available for purchase through Seiko’s Singapore boutique. The two references, SRPM11K1 and SRPM13K1, are listed as in stock. This makes it an official confirmation of their rollout across select Southeast Asian markets.
Both watches are part of the Seiko 5 Sports SKX series and are Thong Sia Group exclusives. Pricing is set at SGD 473.10 (~$367) per model, according to the official listings. The watches are limited editions, with production capped at 1,000 pieces for the region, covering Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, and Brunei.
From the listings, both references share the same core specifications. They use a 42.5mm stainless steel case with a matching steel bracelet and a one-way rotating bezel. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres. The watches are powered by Seiko’s automatic 4R36 movement, with hacking and hand-winding support along with an approximate 41-hour power reserve. A Hardlex crystal covers the dial instead of sapphire crystal, which is somewhat of a letdown for watches in this price segment. The caseback is see-through.
Where the two models really differ is in their color treatment. The SRPM11K1 features a purple dial paired with a matching purple bezel insert, while the SRPM13K1 uses a brown dial and bezel combination. Both dials are equipped with a grid-like texture, applied hour markers, and a day-date display at three o’clock.
The product pages do not have any info regarding individual numbering on the casebacks, nor do they clarify whether the 1,000-piece limit applies per reference or across the pair. No additional variants or wider international availability have been announced at this stage, which means the models will likely be strictly regional releases tied to Thong Sia Group’s Southeast Asian markets.
