Nintendo turns the Super Mario Talking Flower into a cute gadget – NotebookCheck.net News
The Talking Flower from the Super Mario franchise will soon be available as a gadget, as Nintendo has announced a version that will start talking at the push of a button. The toy will start shipping this March.
The Talking Flower not only comments on the adventures of Super Mario, but will soon do the same for the lives of Nintendo fans. The Japanese gaming giant has announced a small plastic version of the plant that plays a comment at the push of a button. These remarks are intended to be motivating, encouraging or simply humorous.
The Talking Flower is supposed to start talking on its own roughly twice per hour. Alternatively, the button on the top can be pressed to prompt a comment. The content of the voice output is intelligently adjusted based on the time of day, among other things. Around lunchtime, the Talking Flower may mention food, comment on the weather, warn about low batteries or simply announce the time.
From time to time, the gadget will also play the soundtrack from Super Mario Bros. Wonder (from $58 on Amazon). Holding down the button for a few seconds will mute the Talking Flower for a while. It won’t start talking on its own at night and can even say “Good night” and “Good morning”. The Talking Flower supports a total of eleven languages, including English.
Price and availability
The Nintendo Talking Flower will launch on March 12, 2026. Nintendo has not confirmed the official price thus far. More details should become available soon on Nintendo’s website.
