The second batch of PC free games for October 2025 is now live on the Epic Games Store. This giveaway offers a top-rated 2D action platformer and a content pack for a free game.

Epic Games Store has made the second game giveaway of October 2025 live. As we covered earlier, this batch of free games will be available from October 9 to October 16, ending at 15:00 UTC. After that, new freebies will go live, which we have dived into in a separate coverage.

Among the two freebies, there’s a top-rated 2D action platformer, Gravity Circuit. It’s developed by Domesticated Ant Games and was released in July 2023. Since then, this current free game on the Epic Games Store has earned around 2,000 reviews on Steam, and 95% of them are positive.

The game puts players in control of a super-powered robot tasked to save the robot world from evil robots. Players who have tried it praise its smooth and responsive controls, and the heavy emphasis on melee combat has been received well.

This currently free game also has a grappling mechanic, adding a layer of fun in combat. Players can use the grappling hook to swing through levels as well. However, some have noted that the story is a bit weak, with vague plot points. The gameplay can also feel a bit repetitive at times. Gravity Circuit usually costs $16.99, and it comes with proper controller support (8BitDo Ultimate 2C curr. $25.49 on Amazon).

Moving to the second freebie, Epic Games Store is offering the Rogue Journeyman Bundle for the free game Albion Online. The content pack, which was first introduced with the Rise of Avalon update and is worth over $50, offers a bunch of in-game skins.

As for the game itself, Albion Online launched in 2017 as a free-to-play MMORPG. It features open-world gameplay, and one of the biggest highlights is the classless character system. The abilities of the characters solely depend on how each players equip them.

While it’s a free game, there’s a good amount of player base, and it’s generally received well by many. However, some reviews point out that the combat can feel a bit sluggish sometimes, and the pay-to-win elements aren’t a great thing for F2P games. You can learn more about the current Epic Games Store freebies from the videos below.
