OnePlus 15T cameras detailed in new leak suggesting no real upgrade – NotebookCheck.net News
ⓘ OnePlus India
OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 15T/15s is coming soon. There have been quite a few leaks and rumors that pretty much giveaway everything about the compact phone, and now more camera details have emerged.
The OnePlus 15T is shaping up to be a solid compact offering that won’t break the bank. While the company has only confirmed its existence, there have been quite a few leaks that have hinted at the specifications. Most recently, a leaker shared some information on the cameras bringing some updates and also reaffirming what was previously known.
A previous leak had suggested that the OnePlus 15T will feature either a 50MP IMX906 sensor or a 200MP HP5, alongside a JN5 telephoto shooter. It will, unfortunately, not come with an ultrawide lens. Now, a leaker on Weibo by the name of ‘Old Chen Air’ has shared that the primary will be a wide-angle LYTIA 700 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS while the telephoto will use a JN5 f/2.8 lens, also with OIS. While the leaker doesn’t share the megapixel count for the two cameras, the OnePlus Club account on X states they will both be 50MP.
The same account also reaffirms that there will not be an ultrawide camera. This is essentially the same setup as the OnePlus 13T. It should also be noted that the OnePlus 15T will be the China variant while the global variant will be the OnePlus 15s. The specifications, however, should be mostly the same.
As for the rest of the specifications, previous leaks have suggested a 6.31-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus 15s/15T is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the same chip in the flagship OnePlus 15. It will be backed by a 7,500mAh with 100W or 120W fast charging support.
