Peak60: Premium keyboard brand launches kiln-fired ceramic case for Wooting 60HE and kin with launch discount – NotebookCheck.net News

Cerakey has officially announced its latest product, the Peak60, which is a new case for the Wooting 60HE, 60HE V2, and all other GH60 PCBs. The 60% keyboard case is kiln-fired ceramic, and it will be available in three different colourways and finishes, with a 30% launch discount.

Cerakey is known for its durable ceramic keycaps, which offer a premium alternative to the PBT, ABS, and even metal keycaps that have been floating around the mechanical keyboard space for ages. The latest project from Cerakey is a new keyboard case made entirely of ceramic. Unlike the sintered process of the Keychron Q16 HE 8K, which we saw at CES 2026 and are in the process of reviewing, the new Cerakey Peak60 seemingly uses a much more traditional ceramic manufacturing process with a more hand-crafted look and feel.

The Peak60 also isn’t a pre-built keyboard. Instead, it is an aftermarket case option for GH60 mechanical keyboards, which means it is compatible with keyboard PCBs like the Wooting 60HE and 60HE v2 as well as the Gateron GT60 Pro+ (curr. $109 on Amazon) and Geon Venom 60 HE, to name but a few. There is a full compatibility list on the Cerakey site for those looking to build their own custom keyboard. While Cerakey has revealed four different colourways for the Peak60, only the white craze and white colours will be available at launch. To celebrate the launch, Cerakey has also discounted the Peak60 case by 10%, bringing it down to $107 for the white version and $134 for the white crazed glaze. The other two colourways, which will be available at a later date, are blue crazed and pink crazed, and Cerakey also uses these finishes in its ceramic keycap sets, so you can now build a full ceramic keyboard with a case that matches your keycaps.

The case itself is a tray-mounted design, much like the original 60HE, with what look like brass inserts for the PCB to screw into. Cerakey also includes a poron foam sheet, a screwdriver for assembly, and a set of silicone feet. The case weighs in at 760 g and has a front height of 22 mm, which is far from tall, but should be slightly more comfortable without a wrist rest than keyboards like the Keychron Q13 Max we previously reviewed.
