At Prequel, we enable B2B companies to make data accessible to their customers. Today, we help companies sync data directly to their customer’s data warehouse, on an ongoing basis. To do so, we’re solving a number of hard technical problems up and down the stack that come with syncing tens of billions of rows of data every day with perfect data integrity. We’ve hit strong PMF on our core product, and we’re cooking up something new while we scale it. We want you to come build this with us.

⚡️ What you’ll be working on:

• Developing a new product from the very first line of code
• Building thoughtful React experiences & SDKs that will be relied upon in production by engineers at top-tier companies. This isn’t your standard CRUD app.
• Owning key architecture and design decisions
• Working hands-on with engineers using Prequel in production every day
• Developing our best practices around code contributions, testing, and deployment
• Developing and growing our stellar engineering team

🛠 Skills & experience we’d love for you to have:

• You have 3+ years experience building software at scale
• You have experience building highly performant frontends in a modern framework (e.g. React, Vue) and with TypeScript
• You’re able to think at a high-level of abstraction, and to design excellent APIs / SDKs that other engineers will leverage
• You’re not scared of getting into the weeds to make something pixel perfect
• You’re comfortable with ambiguity
• You have experience with and enjoy mentoring other engineers

• You have experience publishing and managing npm packages
• You’re excited about data (it’s okay, we are too!)
