ROG Unveils Next-Gen OLED Displays, XREAL R1 AR Gaming Glasses and Precision Peripherals at CES 2026

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has significantly expanded its gaming ecosystem at CES 2026 by unveiling a new generation of OLED gaming displays, the futuristic ROG XREAL R1 AR Gaming Glasses, and a comprehensive lineup of high-performance peripherals designed to elevate precision, immersion, and comfort. Together, these launches underline ROG’s ambition to redefine how gamers see, hear, and interact with their games, moving beyond raw performance into deeply immersive, lifestyle-driven experiences.

ROG continues to strengthen its leadership in OLED gaming monitors with the introduction of its latest Swift OLED lineup, built for both competitive esports players and cinematic gaming enthusiasts. These new displays focus heavily on speed, clarity, and colour accuracy, combining ultra-fast refresh rates with near-instant response times to eliminate motion blur and ghosting. By leveraging advanced RGB stripe OLED technology, ROG aims to address long-standing OLED concerns such as text clarity and colour consistency, delivering sharper visuals not just in games, but also during productivity and creative tasks.

Ultrawide OLED options further push immersion by wrapping gameplay across curved panels that enhance peripheral vision, making them ideal for racing games, open-world titles, and simulation experiences. ROG has also invested heavily in durability and longevity, integrating OLED Care Pro technologies such as proximity sensors and intelligent pixel management to reduce burn-in risk and ensure long-term reliability. This reflects a clear understanding that premium OLED monitors are long-term investments for gamers, not disposable upgrades.

Taking visual immersion beyond traditional screens, ROG has also entered the AR gaming space through its collaboration with XREAL, introducing the ROG XREAL R1 Gaming Glasses. These AR glasses offer a radically different way to experience games by projecting a massive virtual display in front of the user, effectively turning any space into a personal gaming theatre. With a high refresh rate, low motion-to-photon latency, and full HD resolution per eye, the ROG XREAL R1 is designed to deliver smooth, responsive visuals that feel natural even during fast-paced gameplay.

One of the key strengths of the ROG XREAL R1 lies in its versatility. It supports seamless connectivity with PCs, consoles, and handheld gaming devices, allowing gamers to enjoy a large-screen experience without carrying a physical monitor. Built-in rendering and tracking enable a stable, anchored virtual screen, while adaptive lens technology automatically adjusts transparency based on ambient lighting. Paired with spatial audio tuned in collaboration with Bose, the ROG XREAL R1 delivers an immersive audiovisual experience that blends portability with high-end performance, appealing to gamers who value flexibility and minimal setups.

Alongside displays and AR hardware, ROG has also refreshed its peripherals lineup to complete the ecosystem. Leading the audio category is the ROG Kithara, the brand’s flagship planar magnetic gaming headset developed in collaboration with audio specialists. Designed for gamers who demand audiophile-grade sound, the Kithara features large planar magnetic drivers that deliver an expansive soundstage, precise positional audio, and exceptionally low distortion. Its open-back design enhances spatial awareness, making it particularly well-suited for competitive shooters where audio cues can determine victory or defeat.

For gamers who prefer a lighter, more lifestyle-oriented solution, the ROG Cetra Open Wireless earbuds introduce an open-ear design that balances immersion with environmental awareness. Supporting both Bluetooth and ultra-low-latency wireless connectivity, these earbuds are positioned as a versatile companion for gaming, work, and outdoor use. Large dynamic drivers, onboard audio modes, and ergonomic ear hooks ensure comfort and clarity during long sessions, while splash resistance adds durability for everyday wear.

ROG’s focus on precision input is highlighted by the Falchion Ace 75 HE keyboard, which brings magnetic switch technology into a compact yet highly configurable form factor. With adjustable actuation points, rapid trigger functionality, and an ultra-high polling rate, the keyboard is designed to give competitive players granular control over every keystroke. Onboard tuning controls, sound-dampening layers, and durable keycaps further enhance its appeal as a travel-ready yet tournament-grade keyboard.

While local pricing and availability for Malaysia have yet to be confirmed, these CES 2026 announcements offer a clear glimpse into what the future of ROG gaming hardware will look like. For Malaysian gamers, creators, and enthusiasts, the message is clear: ROG is not just pushing for higher performance, but reshaping how gaming fits into everyday life, whether at home, on the move, or anywhere in between.
