Samsung launches 2025 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup

Samsung has officially announced the arrival of its latest 2025 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup, featuring cutting-edge advancements designed to elevate the gaming experience to new heights. The new lineup introduces the revolutionary Odyssey 3D, the 4K, 240Hz Odyssey OLED G8, and the ultrawide Odyssey G9, each delivering a bold combination of visual excellence, immersive features, and high-performance technology for modern gamers.

    A New Dimension: Odyssey 3D (G90XF)

The highlight of this year’s lineup is the Odyssey 3D, a 27” 4K monitor that introduces an immersive 3D gaming experience without the need for glasses. Utilizing advanced eye-tracking technology and a proprietary lenticular lens, it delivers high-definition 3D visuals accessible through the Reality Hub app. To enhance the 3D ecosystem, Samsung has partnered with top game developers including Nexon, for The First Berserker: Khazan (launching March 28), and Neowiz, for Lies of P’s upcoming DLC Overture.

In addition to native 3D gaming, the Odyssey 3D uses AI video conversion to transform compatible 2D video content into realistic 3D visuals, helping users experience deeper immersion across a broader range of content. A 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms GtG response time, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC ensure smooth, responsive gameplay. Edge Lighting further enhances immersion by syncing ambient light beneath the screen to match on-screen action.

OLED Excellence: Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF)

The Odyssey OLED G8 delivers industry-leading OLED performance in both 27” and 32” variants. The 27” model introduces Samsung’s first 4K OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and 166 pixels per inch for ultra-sharp detail. Featuring Quantum Dot OLED technology, it offers vibrant color accuracy, deep contrast, and consistent quality from any angle.

Enhanced by VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and Glare Free technology (certified by UL), the OLED G8 minimizes reflections and distractions while maximizing visual impact. Samsung OLED Safeguard+ technology, including a Dynamic Cooling System with Pulsating Heat Pipe, protects the screen from burn-in and extends longevity without sacrificing brightness.

Gamers can enjoy .03ms GtG response time, ultra-fast screen transitions, and smooth performance with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility. The sleek metal design, Core Lighting+, and ergonomic stand make it both a powerful and stylish addition to any gaming setup.

    Expansive Vision: Odyssey G9 (G91F)

Designed to make ultrawide gaming more accessible, the new Odyssey G9 features a 49” Dual QHD display with a 1000R curvature, providing an immersive wraparound view. A 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time ensure rapid responsiveness, while AMD FreeSync Premium Pro minimizes screen tearing and stuttering.

The monitor is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 600 and supports HDR10+ GAMING, enhancing visuals with optimized brightness, contrast, and dynamic range. For multitasking, the G9 includes Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture modes, allowing users to view content from multiple sources simultaneously. Auto Source Switch+ quickly detects and displays connected devices, reducing setup time and getting gamers into action faster.

Pre-Order & Save: Up to RM1,300 in Vouchers and Discounts

From 24 March to 6 April 2025, consumers in Malaysia can register their interest to receive an exclusive RM300 e-voucher, redeemable during the pre-order period from 7 to 20 April 2025 on selected models. Additional savings of up to RM1,000 are also available for pre-orders.
