    Samsung launches Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, ushering in a new era of foldable smartphones empowered by advanced Galaxy AI and sleek, ultra-portable designs. Both devices introduce intelligent multimodal experiences, enhanced displays, flagship-grade cameras, and next-level durability — all wrapped in Samsung’s slimmest, lightest foldables to date.

Galaxy Z Fold7: Thinner, Smarter, and More Capable Than Ever

The Galaxy Z Fold7 sets a new benchmark in performance, portability, and AI integration. At just 215g and 8.9mm when folded, it’s lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra while offering a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover screen and a massive 8-inch main display that’s 11% larger than its predecessor. Peak brightness hits 2,600 nits, and the redesigned hinge with a Titanium plate and thicker Ultra-Thin Glass adds strength without the bulk.

Powering the Fold7 is the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, delivering up to 41% better NPU performance for seamless on-device AI features like real-time translation, Generative Edit, and Photo Assist. It also debuts a 200MP wide-angle camera — the highest resolution yet on a Galaxy foldable — with enhanced night video, 10-bit HDR, and Samsung’s ProVisual Engine for sharp, color-rich photos and videos, the secondary cameras are similar as before including a 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto, while Samsung has done away the under-display camera on the internal screen with a much better 10MP punch hole camera substituing it.

One UI 8 and Android 16 introduce a smarter interface designed for large screens. Features like Gemini Live, Circle to Search, and AI Results View make multitasking and creative work more fluid. The Fold7 is also protected by Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) and quantum-resistant encryption, future-proofing privacy.

Galaxy Z Flip7: Compact AI Powerhouse With Expanded FlexWindow

The Galaxy Z Flip7 proves that big intelligence can come in small packages. Featuring a new 4.1-inch edge-to-edge Super AMOLED FlexWindow with Vision Booster and 120Hz refresh rate, it delivers quick interactions, full message replies, and selfie previews — even in bright daylight. The main 6.9-inch AMOLED display offers an immersive experience when unfolded.

Sleeker than ever at just 13.7mm thick and 188g, the Flip7 is built with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, Armor Aluminum, and an upgraded Armor FlexHinge for better durability. It’s powered by a 3nm processor and includes the largest battery ever in a Flip — a 4,300mAh unit that supports up to 31 hours of video playback. For the first time, Samsung DeX also comes to the Flip.

Galaxy AI is fully integrated into the FlexWindow with Gemini Live, camera sharing, and Now Bar for real-time app activity. Users can customize the cover screen with wallpapers, widgets, and fonts, making the Flip7 both highly personal and powerful. The 50MP + 12MP dual camera system supports enhanced Nightography, Dual Preview, Real-Time Filters, and Portrait Studio for next-level selfies without opening the device.

Galaxy Z Flip7 FE: Foldables for Everyone

Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, a more accessible option with a 6.7-inch main display and 50MP FlexCam, the phone is essentially a rebadged Galaxy Z Flip6 with very similar hardware albeit being powered by an Exynos 2400 processor.

It supports hands-free content capture in Flex Mode and features the Now Brief dashboard for personalized updates. Available in minimalist Black and White colors, the Flip7 FE brings the foldable experience to more users.

    Security and Availability

All models run One UI 8 and feature Knox Matrix, KEEP secure storage, and post-quantum cryptography for secure connections over public Wi-Fi. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE begin 9 July 2025 at 10PM (Malaysia Time), with official availability starting 1 August 2025.

    Pricing in Malaysia:
