Samsung leak spoils the Unpacked date for Galaxy S26 series launch
A trusted leaker may have confirmed Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked date, shedding light on when the Galaxy S26 and new Galaxy Buds could officially debut.
Samsung
Like every year, almost everything about Samsung’s new flagships is already available on the internet as leaks and rumors. While we already know the Galaxy S26 series won’t be as radical an update as many wanted, it might not come with a revised price tag after all.
A fresh leak, however, seems to have taken all the mystery out of the Galaxy S26’s launch date, or should I say, the first Galaxy Unpacked event’s date, and it’s on the same day as everyone expected it to be.
Galaxy Unpacked date appears to be locked in
Renowned tipster Evan Blass (via X) has shared what appears to be a promotional banner for the purported Galaxy Unpacked event.
The date, as mentioned on the banner, is February 25, 2026, corroborating (and sort of confirming) all the previous reports about it. This is not the first time we’ve heard about Samsung’s big Galaxy S26 launch set for late February.
It was a Korean news outlet that claimed the same day in November 2025. Over time, several industry sources have affirmed the launch timeline in one way or another.
In 2025, Samsung announced the Galaxy S25 on January 22, pre-orders began the next day, while the flagships went on sale from February 7.
What the launch timeline could look like
If the company follows a similar launch schedule this year, the Galaxy S26 should be available to purchase by the end of the second week in March.
Along with the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung should also unveil the Galaxy Buds 4 lineup at the event. For those catching up, we should see two TWS earbuds at the event: Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
Most recently, we reported that the flagship earbuds could arrive at a similar price to last year’s Galaxy Buds 3.

A flexible AI chip thinner than hair promises smart wearables that work without a phone
The chip that could free wearables from phones or cloud-based-computing
Wearables are getting smarter every year, but most of them still lean heavily on a nearby smartphone to do the real thinking. That dependency may not last much longer.
Researchers from Tsinghua University and Peking University have now developed a flexible AI chip that is slimmer than a human hair and can be folded thousands of times.
Your smart ring or smartwatch dilemma has a $50 answer
The Rogbid Fusion is a 2-in-1 wearable that tries to cover everyday tracking without making you commit to a full watch.
Rogbid has launched the Fusion, a smart ring watch that’s trying to solve a familiar problem, do you buy a smartwatch for the screen, or a smart ring for comfort. At $49.99 on Rogbid’s site, it’s priced to be a low-stress experiment if you’re curious about both.
The core idea is simple. Fusion is a tiny smartwatch you can wear on your wrist, then convert into a ring-style wearable by swapping the included straps.
Google Pixel Buds 2a leak shows a hot new color you can’t take your eyes off
Leaked renders hint at a colorful refresh for Google’s affordable earbuds, with new Pixel Buds 2a finishes that could debut alongside the Pixel 10a launch.
Currently, the Google Pixel Buds 2a are available in two colors: Iris and Hazel. However, that could change soon. Google could refresh its affordable TWS earbuds with two new colors, and it might happen sooner than you’d have thought.
Folks over at Android Headlines seem to have got their hands on the “official images” of the new Pixel Buds 2a colors. One of them features a white charging case with a soft-green interior and earbuds, while the other features a standard charging case with bright pink-colored accents and earbuds.
