The Lions have also reshuffled their captains, placing Dasun Shanaka at the head of their T20I team in place of Charith Asalanka. They’re in a far healthier position than England in the ODI picture, however. Sri Lanka currently rank fifth in the world, ahead of their opponents in eighth. Only the top eight gain automatic qualification to next year’s 50-over World Cup.
