    Steam free games library sees another expansion with more new releases – NotebookCheck.net News

    The free games collection on Steam has once again expanded, and a handful of newly spotted freebies already have a decent player rating. These new additions also reside in different categories, including racing, RPG, action, and adventure.

    Steam has seen yet another batch of new free games, and just like last time, not all the newly spotted freebies seem worth trying. There are, however, many that have already been received well by the players who have tried them. For example:

    • DriveWave – released on October 23, it’s described as a racing game that tests players’ typing skills. It currently sports a 93% positive rating with 29 reviews.
    • Werewolves Revenge – a first-person social deduction game that was released on October 22. The free game has a 95% positive rating that’s based on 24 reviews.
    • Night of the Extinct – a puzzle game that’s set in a haunted museum. It was released on October 24 and features an 81% positive rating with 86 reviews.
    • Exploding Judo Federation – described as a fast-paced fighting game with local multiplayer and controller support (8BitDo Ultimate 2 curr. $52.99 on Amazon). This Steam free game launched on October 23 and currently has a 94% positive rating with 38 reviews.
    • Senior Sunset – a survival horror that launched as a free game on Steam on October 24. It currently has an 82% positive rating and 28 player reviews.
    • Gnomeball – released on October 24, it’s a fast-paced soccer game with support for local co-op. This free game currently has a 90% positive rating and 21 reviews.
    • YogLabs: Testing Initiative – said to be a unique puzzle-adventure that was released on October 24. It currently boasts a 96% positive rating with 62 reviews.
    • Days Without Incident – an action free game with horror elements that was launched on Steam on October 22. This Steam freebie currently boasts a 96% positive rating and 166 reviews.
    • TERPENIE –  released on October 17, it’s an adventure game that’s set in a gloomy atmosphere. The free game currently has an 82% positive rating and 50 reviews.
    • The Roach Hotel – a first-person horror game with VHS-styled visuals that was released on October 17. This freebie currently sports an 89% positive rating and 47 reviews.
