This 2D RPG set in medieval times is available with a 90% discount on Steam – NotebookCheck.net News

Feudal Alloy immerses you in a medieval world in which you must face the forces of evil. And to achieve this, you will embody a robot, which is controlled by a fish in an aquarium, and collect many weapons and resources.

The Middle Ages is a period of history that fascinates thousands of people, thanks in particular to certain heroes, but also to the many legends that surround them. As such, several games take place during this era, such as Feudal Alloy, a 2D Metroidvania-style RPG currently on sale on Steam with a 90% discount.

You play as Attu, a farmer robot controlled by a fish in an aquarium on his head who lived in a house in the middle of fields. While he was living a peaceful life, bandits attacked his village, wreaking havoc and destroying everything in their path. Even worse, they stole the oil reserves, a precious resource. But Attu managed to escape with his sword and he is determined to eradicate the forces of evil from his region.

You will embark on an adventure in an interconnected world and face numerous enemies and bosses. And to achieve this, you will have a large arsenal of weapons and equipment, such as grenades and different swords. However, an interesting feature has been implemented, as the robot can overheat if you attack too often. To avoid this, you will have to dodge enemy attacks in order to preserve your energy.

The game environment is hand-drawn and features highly detailed landscapes. There are many items to collect to upgrade your equipment and become stronger. Finally, there are secret areas to discover, which may hold a few surprises. If you want to immerse yourself in this adventure, Feudal Alloy is currently available on Steam for $1.69 until December 18.

However, while Feudal Alloy offers some very interesting features, some players did not enjoy their experience. In the 938 reviews of the game on Steam, some people mention a lack of diversity in the gameplay. The enemies are generally the same, and although the 2D world is beautiful, the environments are often repetitive, giving the impression of walking down an endless corridor.
