The Galaxy S25 FE may not come at a higher price in the US compared to the Galaxy S24 FE. That could make the lack of an SoC upgrade more justifiable for some shoppers.
The Galaxy S25 FE has been in the news for quite some time and is expected to launch early in September. While Samsung has not confirmed a date or pricing for the phone, a new leak hints at what it may cost in the US. Fortunately, fans of the budget-flagship series will be pleased to know that there is not going to be a price hike this time.
The information comes from listings on Shi, an IT solutions company, and they show pricing for the 8 GB + 128 GB and the 8 GB + 256 GB variants of the Galaxy S25 FE. The former is priced at $650 while the latter is priced at $710. This comes as good news especially considering the ongoing tariff situation as the prices are in line with the previous generation Galaxy S24 FE (buy on Amazon) models. Notably, the 512 GB model was missing from the listings which makes sense since Samsung did not launch the 512 GB variant in the US market.
Earlier this month, a leaker had shared expected prices in France for the Galaxy S25 FE and the base model was listed at €749. The 256 GB model was said to cost €809 while the 512 GB storage model would cost €929. These are the same European prices as the Galaxy S24 FE.
Looks like Samsung is sticking with the same pricing for its Galaxy S25 FE as the Galaxy S24 FE, but that’s not all that remains the same. The phone is expected to carry the same SoC as well. The battery, however, is expected to get a minor upgrade. The Galaxy S25 FE has been leaked to come in four colors, namely, Icy Blue, Navy, Jet Black, and White. It will also be a bit slimmer and lighter than its predecessor.
As mentioned earlier, Samsung has not shared a launch date for the Galaxy S25 FE but had stated that it will release the phone earlier than it did the Galaxy S24 FE last year.
