Upgrade to the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL with a massive AU$756 discount – there’s just one small catch

The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL has just hit its lowest ever price in Australia five months after its launch in August 2025, with Vodafone slashing a whopping AU$756 off its AU$1,999 RRP.

This comes one month after the telco handed the iPhone Air a AU$600 discount to AU$1,198.80, which was also its all-time low price in Australia.

Google Pixel phones tend to get discounted frequently, so this deal wasn’t as big a surprise compared to the iPhone Air, but this offer is bigger than the savings from Black Friday and Boxing Day in 2025. The lowest price we saw at the time was AU$1,497 or AU$502 off the RRP.

It’s worth noting that the Pixel 10 Pro XL is the only handset Vodafone carries from Google’s latest range (the Pixel 9a is the only other Google phone the telco sells), so if you’re looking to buy through a carrier, this deal also makes the Pixel 10 Pro XL cheaper than even the base Pixel 10 when bought from other telcos.

In our Google Pixel 10 Pro XL review, the phone was praised for its bright and sharp display, cameras, and durable and polished design. Our tester said he “wouldn’t give [the handset] up for all the iPhones in the world”, and that it is “the most satisfying, refined Android phone you can buy today”.

It also has an impressive camera array with a 50MP main shooter, 48MP telephoto lens, and 48MP ultrawide camera, along with a 42MP selfie camera.

If you’re upgrading from an older Google Pixel model, the Pixel 10 Pro XL boasts several significant upgrades, starting with its powerful Tensor G5 processor, and continuing with its 45W fast charging (up from 37W for the Pixel 9 Pro XL), a 5,200 mAh battery and new MagSafe-like magnetic charging called PixelSnap.
