Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt to be taken offline in April 2026
“[The] current player population has reached a level where keeping servers running is no longer sustainable,” says Sharkmob
Vampire: The Masquerade’s free-to-play battle royale Bloodhunt will shut down on April 28, 2026.
Swedish developer Sharkmob announced the news in a blog post, citing that the “current player population has reached a level where keeping the servers running is no longer sustainable.”
Bloodhunt, which initially launched in 2022 for Windows and PlayStation 5, will remain playable until April 2026.
The in-game store will stay open for players to spend remaining tokens (in-game currency), though new purchases of tokens have since been disabled.
Once Bloodhunt’s servers are closed, the in-game currency will no longer be usable, and the game will no longer be available on PC or PS5.
“Thank you for your passion, your battles in the shadows, and the memories we shared. They will always be a part of what made Bloodhunt special,” said Sharkmob.
