vivo X300 series and OriginOS 6: How the duo complements each other to deliver performance and groundbreaking imaging tech

vivo Malaysia has offered an in-depth look at the technology architecture behind its upcoming vivo X300 Series. Central to the presentation was the debut of OriginOS 6, vivo’s next-generation operating system that underpins the series’ performance, imaging excellence, and intelligent user experience.

Engineered from the ground up, OriginOS 6 serves as the backbone of the X300 Series’ seamless operation. Built with deep system-level optimization, it delivers sustained performance, efficient resource management, and intelligent power allocation across use cases — from professional-grade photography to demanding multitasking. vivo confirmed that OriginOS 6 has earned SGS 5-Year Sustained Smoothness Certification, recognizing its ability to maintain long-term responsiveness through advanced kernel scheduling, memory control, and refined motion rendering.

Yvonne, OS Product Manager at vivo, described OriginOS 6 as “a manifestation of our vision for a truly seamless smartphone experience where sophisticated technology enhances, not complicates, daily life.” She added that vivo’s integrated approach allows the system to balance performance and intelligence, ensuring that both the X300’s cutting-edge imaging hardware and user interface work together in perfect harmony.

The system introduces an enhanced Origin Smooth Engine, which optimizes CPU and GPU collaboration for fluent operation and intelligent energy distribution. Whether recording dual-view videos, capturing 200MP telephoto shots, or switching between apps, users can expect consistently fluid performance. Advanced multi-camera synchronization allows perfect audio-visual alignment between the front and rear cameras, while intelligent video processing ensures seamless results during long recording sessions.

Visually, OriginOS 6 brings a bold evolution in design and functionality. Flip Cards turn the home interface into an interactive space for real-time task and information management, while Origin Island consolidates essential notifications and app updates in one elegant, glanceable hub, minimizing the need to switch between apps. Together, these elements create a cleaner, more efficient digital environment designed for focus and flow.

The system also introduces vivo Office Kit, a suite of cross-platform tools enabling instant file synchronization, message continuity, and communication management between mobile and desktop ecosystems. This integrated workflow solution allows professionals to move effortlessly between devices while maintaining productivity and consistency.

On the intelligence front, OriginOS 6 incorporates upgraded AI engines that learn user patterns to streamline interaction and power efficiency. Its AI-powered task prioritization dynamically allocates processing resources to balance performance with endurance, allowing for longer battery life without compromising speed.

“OriginOS 6 represents the culmination of vivo’s decade-long pursuit of user-centric design,” Yvonne noted. “It’s built for reliability, personalization, and long-term stability — ensuring that every interaction feels intuitive, responsive, and alive.”

By combining the professional imaging power of the vivo X300 Series — including the ZEISS 200MP APO Super Telephoto lens and vivo’s proprietary NICE 3.0 and MAGIC 2.0 algorithm engines — with the deeply intelligent OriginOS 6 platform, vivo is redefining the boundaries between hardware and software. The result is a new generation of smartphones designed not just for performance, but for enduring excellence in every experience.
