When do Black Friday sales end in Australia? The day itself might have been and gone, but the deals are far from finished – here’s when the 2025 discounting wraps up

While its name might suggest a 24-hour period of insane discounts, the days of trampling stampedes of shoppers looking to take advantage of Black Friday sales are firmly in the past. In reality, the Black Friday sales in 2025 often run for weeks. Trust us on this – the deals team here at TechRadar Australia has been tracking discounts since the beginning of November.

For an example of a sale that got underway well before the official date of November 28, Amazon threw the switch on its Black Friday deals on November 18 – a full 10 days early. Many of the biggest retailers across Australia followed Amazon‘s lead, launching their proper sales well in advance of the main event.

As start dates can be quite unpredictable, it’s probably not surprising that end dates can be too. This is especially the case now that Cyber Monday – an event that started as an attempt to match Black Friday’s in-store mania with an online-only counterpart – now simply extends the deals frenzy to an entire four-day weekend.

    • Amazon: Black Friday sale ends on Dec 1
    • Bose: hundreds off premium audio until Dec 2 – save 10% with our exclusive codes
    • Breville: up to AU$1,200 off until Dec 7. Save 10% sitewide with our exclusive code
    • Dell: sale ends on Dec 1, but you can save big with our exclusive FUTURE13% code
    • Dyson: save up to AU$650 of premium appliances until Dec 4
    • HP: save up to 50% on select HP tech until Dec 8. Get an extra 5% off with our exclusive FUTURE5 code
    • Lenovo: save up to 47% on select laptops and score an additional 3% off with code TECHRADARBFCM – ends Dec 1
    • Meta: up to AU$110 off the Quest 3S, 20% off accessories – sale ends Dec 1
    • Myer: 20% off kitchen and home appliances – ends Dec 3
    • Ninja Kitchen: massive savings on premium appliances, plus additional discounts – ends Dec 1
    • Optus: up to 50% off phones, tablets and great deals on internet – ends Dec 1
    • Samsung: save on TVs, phones, tablets, appliances and more – ends Dec 3
    • Shark: up to 33% off select vacuum cleaners – ends Dec 1
    • The Good Guys: get additional savings on discounted items with code CYBER25 – ends Dec 1

However, it’s worth noting that while the sales might not be as limited-time as they once were, individual products can and do still sell out – we’ve seen some stellar savings come and go already in November. Prices can fluctuate at some stores, too, so what was a good deal five minutes ago might not be any longer – so if you see a product at a good discount, our general advice is to take advantage while you can.
