The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is now officially confirmed to launch in China on August 21, 2025. Ahead of this imminent release, Xiaomi has showcased the design of the upcoming mid-range phone, and it’s largely unchanged from the predecessor.

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 15 series in China, and with the latest teasers, the company has already confirmed that the lineup will debut on August 21, 2025. Just a few days before the full unveiling, the company showcased the design of the Pro+ variant from the new series, and it’s largely unchanged from the predecessor.

That is, the back still features a similar camera island as the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus, but without the dual-tone-like design. With the latest teasers, Xiaomi has also confirmed that the back will feature a 50 MP sensor with OIS, which will be accompanied by two other cameras.

Among the other two, one is expected to be a 50 MP telephoto, while the other could be an ultrawide sensor. Xiaomi further notes that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ comes with a fully curved screen, which is said to offer a comfortable hand feel and look premium.

The company also highlights that the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus has a “double-side drop-resistant” combination and mentions that it utilizes “flagship Dragon Crystal Glass.” It’s said to pass the 2-meter drop test 50 times, suggesting that the upcoming mid-range phone will be fairly durable against drops.

Another notable feature that Xiaomi has confirmed about the build is the IP69K certification. This, according to the company, makes the phone achieve a “true waterproof” status.

While Xiaomi hasn’t gone much into the specs of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus yet, recent reports suggest that it will sport an OLED display with a “1.5K” resolution. It’s expected to pack the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which will reportedly be paired with up to 16 GB of RAM. The mid-range phone is also tipped to feature a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 90 W fast charging (150 W Anker 747 curr. $99.99 on Amazon). More official details are expected to emerge through teasers before the August 21 launch.
