Xiaomi will now sell you a refrigerator in Malaysia

Xiaomi has officially launched the Mijia Refrigerator Cross Door 510L in Malaysia, introducing a premium smart appliance designed to elevate modern kitchen living with intelligent features, spacious storage, and contemporary design. This new addition to the Mijia lineup brings advanced freshness preservation technologies and seamless smart home integration, wrapped in a stylish slate gray metallic finish that fits effortlessly into today’s kitchen aesthetics.

As part of Xiaomi’s broader [Human × Car × Home] strategic vision, the Mijia Series embodies the brand’s commitment to a connected and human-centric lifestyle. With a unified smart ecosystem, users can enjoy harmonious control over appliances, gadgets, and daily routines. The Mijia Refrigerator Cross Door 510L plays a pivotal role in this ecosystem by offering versatile functionality and intuitive user experience.

Equipped with 510 litres of storage, the refrigerator features an iFresh convertible zone with adjustable temperatures ranging from -1°C to 5°C, allowing users to customize cooling based on specific food types. For hygiene and freshness, the appliance incorporates Ag+ Fresh technology, using silver ions to eliminate odors and suppress bacteria with 99.99% effectiveness—ideal for long-term freshness and clean storage conditions.

On the connectivity front, the built-in Wi-Fi enables users to remotely control temperature settings, switch modes, and receive real-time alerts through the Xiaomi Home app. The refrigerator is also compatible with OTA updates and includes 24-hour self-diagnosis, ensuring consistent, long-term reliability. For voice-activated control, the Mijia Refrigerator supports Google Assistant, offering effortless temperature adjustments via spoken commands. Smart alerts are triggered when the door remains open for over two minutes, helping conserve energy and protect food freshness.

Engineered for both performance and convenience, the Mijia Refrigerator features a dual inverter system for stable cooling and energy efficiency, while maintaining low noise levels—making it ideal for quiet households. A front-facing touch panel allows easy control of temperature zones and settings. The door’s 90° opening angle allows full access to drawers even when positioned against a wall, optimizing usability in smaller kitchens.

Aesthetically, the refrigerator’s stony-textured slate gray exterior adds a minimalist, modern touch to any interior, reflecting Xiaomi’s signature design philosophy.

The Mijia Refrigerator Cross Door 510L will be available for purchase in Malaysia beginning 5 June at 8PM for RM2,899 through selected Xiaomi stores, mi.com, and official stores on Lazada and Shopee. As part of an early-bird promotion, shoppers can purchase it for RM2,399 for a limited time.

Customers in West Malaysia will also benefit from free delivery and setup services. Each unit comes with a 2-year general warranty and a 10-year compressor warranty, reinforcing Xiaomi’s dedication to quality and peace of mind.
