ZTE Malaysia launches Nubia Neo 3 series affordable gaming phones

ZTE Malaysia has officially launched the highly anticipated nubia Neo 3 Series, featuring the nubia Neo 3 and nubia Neo 3 GT, tailored for gamers seeking high-performance hardware and futuristic aesthetics—all at wallet-friendly prices. With immersive visuals, powerful chipsets, and gamer-focused features, the Neo 3 Series sets a new benchmark for value in mobile gaming.

Designed for Power and the Future

The nubia Neo 3 GT 5G stands out with a cyber-mecha inspired design, evoking the look of a futuristic warrior. Its bold visual language is highlighted by sharp body lines, futuristic graphics, and the signature Hero Eye RGB lighting, now upgraded with a realistic 3D texture and customizable illumination. Both devices are also rated IP54 for dust resistance and protection against water splashes, making them durable companions for on-the-go gamers.

The nubia Neo 3 comes in Cyber Silver, Shadow Black, and Titanium Gold, while the Neo 3 GT is available in the striking Electro Yellow and Interstellar Gray.

Immersive Visuals for Gaming and Entertainment

Both models feature expansive 6.8-inch displays that bring games and videos to life. The nubia Neo 3 sports a 120Hz IPS panel, while the Neo 3 GT levels up with a 120Hz OLED display offering up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness, ensuring ultra-smooth performance and vibrant colors even under bright lighting conditions.

    Performance That Powers Every Battle

Under the hood, the nubia Neo 3 is powered by the Unisoc T8300 chipset, providing capable performance for casual gamers. For more demanding users, the Neo 3 GT is equipped with the more powerful Unisoc T9100 processor, engineered for high-performance gameplay. Both models come with RGB lighting accents, dual shoulder triggers, and the iconic cyber-mecha aesthetic—geared for immersive and tactile gaming.

Battery and Cooling That Keep You Playing

Gamers will appreciate the massive 6,000mAh battery on both devices. The Neo 3 GT supports blazing-fast 80W charging, while the standard Neo 3 supports 33W fast charging. Both models also support Bypass Charging, which allows users to play while plugged in without damaging the battery.

To maintain optimal performance during long sessions, the Neo 3 GT features an advanced 4083mm² VC liquid cooling system with multi-layer heat dissipation—ideal for marathon gameplay without throttling.

    Pricing and Availability in Malaysia

    • nubia Neo 3: Starting at RM999
    • nubia Neo 3 GT: Starting at RM1,199

Pre-orders for both models began on April 14, with official sales and shipping starting April 21, 2025. The Neo 3 Series will be available via official Nubia channels, including Shopee, and select retail partners nationwide.
