Next Galaxy Z foldables to be announced on 9 July
After several teasers on how thin its foldable is going to be, Samsung has finally decided to drop the date for its next Galaxy Unpacked event on 9 July, which we will no doubt be seeing the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 foldables, though one thing we are still keeping tabs on is if Samsung will ultimately release an Ultra foldable as teased previously.
For many years, Samsung has been continuously challenged by its competitors for its foldable phones, where its competition offered slimmer forms and larger batteries, the company has kept its foldable design change fairly subtle while having updated internals and improved durability.
We expect the foldables to be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor as the Galaxy S25 series, though there are speculations that the Z Flip7 might be powered by an Exynos 2500 instead, making the first time that an Exynos chip is powering a Samsung foldable.
Meanwhile, Samsung is also expected to announce new Galaxy Watch wearables during the event, so stay tuned to Samsung’s official socials to catch the announcement that day.
