RedMagic highlights camera prowess of its water-cooled gaming phone – NotebookCheck.net News
The RedMagic 11 Pro Chinese launch is around the corner. Days before the event, the company has now showcased the camera capabilities of its water-cooled Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 gaming phone.
RedMagic is set to launch its first water-cooled gaming phone, the RedMagic 11 Pro, on October 17, 2025, in China. This flagship smartphone will pack the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and as the brand highlights, the SoC and the water-cooling aren’t the only notable aspects of the device.
With a recent round of teasers, the company claims that its next water-cooled gaming phone is a great camera smartphone as well. Through one of the recent posts, the brand has confirmed that the RedMagic 11 Pro features two 50 MP sensors on the back, and there’s a third camera, but it’s unclear what sensor it is.
This specific teaser also shares that the primary camera is a 1/1.55-inch sensor with f/1.88 aperture and OIS. So, the sensor didn’t seem to have been upgraded from the 10S Pro (available on Amazon), but the f/1.88 aperture should lead to slightly better night captures from the primary camera of the RedMagic 11 Pro.
Speaking of which, the company has showcased the camera capabilities of the Plus variant of the RedMagic 11 Pro. Per the photos, the primary camera with 24 mm focal length appears to be capable of capturing detailed photos during the day. There is a nighttime camera sample as well, and it’s a capture of a busy city street, which appears to be relatively bright.
With these samples, the brand is asserting that its upcoming RedMagic 11 Pro series will not only excel at gaming but also capture decent enough photos. But then again, these camera samples from companies should always be taken with a pinch of salt, as they tend not to be fully transparent about the captures.
