ROG G1000 and New ROG PC Hardware Push Boundaries With Holographic Design and AI Tuning

ROG’s CES 2026 announcements extend well beyond laptops, with a strong focus on desktop systems and DIY hardware designed to combine extreme performance with visual innovation. Leading this charge is the ROG G1000, a prebuilt gaming desktop that reimagines what a flagship gaming PC can look like.

The standout feature of the ROG G1000 is its built-in AniMe Holo fan system, described as the world’s first holographic fan integrated into a prebuilt gaming PC. This system allows customizable holographic visuals to be projected directly from the chassis, turning the PC into a dynamic display rather than a static box. To ensure performance isn’t compromised, the holographic module is housed in an independent chamber designed to minimize vibration and preserve optimal airflow.

Thermal performance is a major focus of the G1000’s design. ROG introduces its Thermal Atrium cooling concept, which channels fresh air through a large AIO liquid cooling system while isolating airflow paths for key components. The result is a desktop built to sustain high-end performance during long gaming or creative sessions without excessive noise.

The G1000 supports top-tier GPUs, large memory capacities, and next-generation PCIe storage, making it a ready-to-go solution for gamers who want maximum performance without the complexity of a custom build. Customisation remains central, with Armoury Crate and Aura Sync integration enabling full control over lighting, cooling, and system behaviour.

Alongside the G1000, ROG has expanded its motherboard and cooling ecosystem with AI-enhanced tuning, next-gen connectivity, and user-friendly installation features. Flagship motherboards in the new lineup are designed for extreme overclocking, high-speed storage expansion, and simplified setup through intelligent software assistance.

ROG also unveiled new cases and AIO coolers that turn cooling hardware into a visual centrepiece. Large LCD displays, modular connectors that reduce cable clutter, and advanced fan designs reflect ROG’s belief that performance and aesthetics should go hand in hand.

For Malaysian PC enthusiasts, these CES 2026 announcements highlight where high-end desktop gaming is headed. While some halo products may arrive in limited numbers, the technologies introduced here are likely to influence mainstream ROG components that eventually reach local builders and gamers.
